Soon after celebrating their second wedding anniversary in June, Kimberly Perry and her husband Johnny Costello announced that they were expecting their first child in late August.

Kimberly Perry will soon become a mother! The 39-year-old singer of The Band Perry announced her pregnancy with her first kid, Johnny Costello, on Instagram during her “creative break.”
Perry announced the news by uploading a picture of herself next to her husband wearing a button-down shirt while wearing a white dress, showing off her baby belly. Three years after her divorce from former MLB player J.P. Arencibia, the couple got married in June 2021.
She commented, “The best news of all the good news lately is that I’m overflowing with joy to share that Johnny and I are expecting our first baby in late August!” We are utterly overcome with joy and in awe at the Creator’s design.
Since I can remember, I’ve wanted to start a family, and as a woman and an artist, I’ve always felt like I had to choose between advancing my work and advancing my personal life. But I’m doing both at the same time, Y’all! Let’s begin!”

Following another significant development for Perry, she and her brothers, Reid and Neil Perry, have announced that they will be taking a “creative break” from their band. The soon-to-be mother just inked a solo artist deal with Records Nashville.
The Band Perry released a statement in March stating, “We wanted to let you know that the three of us have decided to take a creative break as a group and each focus on our individual creative pursuits.” We shall continue to support one another as artists and as a family during this season.
